UK Status Resident. Widespread but very local in Britain as far north as Lancashire. Montgomeryshire Status This species was not only a new record for the county in 2010 but also for the whole of north Wales. Wingspan : M & F, 8-9mm. Confusion species Care should be taken as there are several other similar looking species. |

(Univoltine ?)  Habitat Wherever the foodplant is found. Foodplant Rose sp. Lifestage data Leaf miner. Eggs laid on foodplant close to ground. Larva mines a white gallery which soon forms into a blotch. This is spun internally which causes the leaf edge to curl up. Pupates in the mine. |
